Moosak (Giveaway: Part 2)

Feels like about time for another giveaway, no?  I'm aware that things have been a little dull on here recently, for which I apologise, so here's a thing!

GIVEAWAY TIME

O.K., this time, up for grabs is a mixtape put together by myself and some sort of one-of-a-kind packaging for said mixtape (it'll be a CD...) and any other goodies I may feel like including!  Hopefully this sounds appealing - I quite like the idea of it.

All you have to do is leave a comment below stating either your favourite song (that might be a bit tricky) or just any song that you are really enjoying at the moment!

The winner will be picked at random and their mixtape will be based on their chosen song, i.e. I will try and make a tape that I think you'll like based on your choice of song!  Testing my musical knowledge, you see.

It's very hard to be certain about these things (what does 'favourite mean, anyway?) but I think that this might be my favourite song of all time (also strange as it was only released 2 years ago) if you're interested.

Telefon Tel Aviv - The Birds

So leave a comment below basically just stating any song you really like!

I'll pick the winner at random in a couple of weeks' time so get your comments in before March 20th!  I look forward to giving all of your songs a listen!

I've forever had this swooning, neo-indie, post-post new romantic style swansong 'Former' (by defunct band Arturo) circulate my head since the second I first heard it many years ago. Not to everyone's taste I suspect but I adore it's Morricone winking riff, and cello, and the silky vocals all drifting like a deceased spacecraft.

I knew the song "Since I Left You" by sound but not by name or band. With my iTunes on random it recently came on and I discovered that it's by The Avalanches and that I have had it for a long time without even knowing it! So I've been listening to that song, and the rest of the album lately.
